What are my certifications?

I have a Certification in Childhood Education: Grades Kindergarten - 6th and a Masters in Childhood Education From Hunter College.

Do I offer one-on-one tutoring?

What Grades do I tutor?

I am offering tutoring services to students from Kindergarten to 5th Grade.

Do I specialize in certain subjects?

As a General Education Teacher, I am able to assist in ALL major academic areas (reading, writing, mathematics, etc.).

What kind of progress should I expect to see?

Academic progress varies considerably based on the individual learner. However, through our sessions, your child will receive support directly correlating to what they are working on/struggling with in school. With teacher permission, I like to be in direct communication with your child's teacher, to understand the needs of your child even better.

Where do I host classes?

Based on Parent Preference, I offer both in-home sessions and sessions done at the Brooklyn Heights Library. *Please Note: -A parent or guardian must be home for all in-home sessions. - All in-home sessions will take place at either the kitchen or dining room table.

How long are my classes?

I offer 30, 45, and 60 Minute Private Sessions. I also offer 60 Minute Group Sessions.

Can I meet you? Or can we have a trial class?

Yes! If you would like to meet, please visit the "Contact Me" Page and send me a message. I will reach back out with a Zoom Link and possible meeting times (approximately 15 mins).

Do I offer Full Day Homeschooling?

Should I hire a tutor even if my child is meeting all academic benchmarks?

Any type of one-on-one or small group service, offers a child a completely unique and focused experience where they can continue to develop and excel in all academic areas. Offering ways to challenge their academic skills and keep their academic spirits high is very important, especially for those students who are excelling in school.

What are my Covid-19 restrictions and Mask Policy?

I have received the vaccine along with the subsequent boosters. I prefer to teach without a mask. However, if you prefer that I do wear a mask, please just ask and I am more than willing to wear one.
